CENTREVILLE (WKZO-AM) — Trial has begun for the boyfriend of a Three Rivers woman who is accused molesting five children at her in-home daycare business.
Cary Jones is charged with seven counts of criminal sexual conduct and one count of accosting a young child. A jury was seated for opening arguments on Tuesday.
The allegations surfaced when one of the children told his parents about the abuse at the Abracadabra Daycare.
Subsequent investigation turned up the other alleged victims.
Jones’ arrest in March capped off a month-long investigation by the Michigan State Police.
