HASTINGS (WKZO-AM) — A 9-year-old Barry County boy remains hospitalized in Grand Rapids after being run over by a float during the Hastings High School homecoming parade over the weekend.
Keegan Lindsey fell off a trailer and was pinned under two of its wheels Friday night, causing the fourth-grader to suffer a broken pelvis, cracked ribs and injured lungs. He’s listed in serious condition.
City police are still investigating, but say nobody appears to be at fault for the accident.
