CALHOUN COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Assault charges are expected in Calhoun County District Court on Monday against a person who was arrested after police say he stabbed a 59-year-old man in Battle Creek.
Investigators say it happened near 24th Street North and Kirkwood Avenue before 1 a.m. Sunday. The victim suffered superficial injuries and is expected to recover.
Police aren’t saying anything about a possible motive.
