KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Dozens of the world’s top autism researchers are in Kalamazoo this week for the third-annual Michigan Autism Conference at the downtown Radisson Plaza Hotel.
The three-day event started Wednesday night, with organizers gearing workshops and presentations toward parents, educators, mental health professionals.
The disorder affects one in 68 children in the U.S. and around 18,000 students in Michigan schools.
