KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Michigan Department of Transportation has opened a new parking lot for carpoolers south of Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.
The 85 spaces can be accessed from 11th Street, just southeast of the intersection.
The agency says the lot is part of the project to reconstruct the Stadium Drive bridge and interchange with U.S. 131. They’re hoping the added parking will lead to reduced traffic on the major thoroughfare and the freeway.
