BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — The Calhoun County Public Health Department will close its clinics in Albion and Battle Creek at noon on Thursday so staff at both facilities can attend memorial services for the agency’s former medical director.
Dr. Gregory Harrington was struck and killed by a van while riding his bicycle down M-78 in Pennfield Township last Friday.
The 55-year-old was also an infectious disease specialist at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. The crash is still under investigation.
