SOUTH HAVEN (WKZO) — A Holland child who disappeared earlier this week with his mother or father, because they didn’t want to turn him into Child Protective Services , has now been turned in by his mother, who was promptly arrested.
7-month old Josiah Williams had been ordered into protective custody by a judge following an investigation by Child Protective Services workers.
They disappeared over a week ago and Holland Police finally issued an alert on Thursday, asking for the public’s help to find the boy and his mother, 32-year-old Sarah Baird.
Friday she called authorities from a fast food restaurant in South Haven and said she would wait for police to arrive. She was arrested for custodial interference. The child is fine.
