HUDSONVILLE (WKZO-AM) — An arraignment is pending for a 40-year-old northwest Indiana man on a misdemeanor moving violation charge after a fatal crash east of Hudsonville.
Deputies say Travis Fox was distracted and didn’t see stopped traffic on I-196 near the M-6 junction last month.
His pickup truck rear ended a car ahead of him, killing a 13-year-old Hudsonville boy who was a passenger and sparking a five-vehicle pileup that hospitalized a total of nine people.
Fox could get up to a year in prison if convicted.
