GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO-AM) — A Mexican national living in the United States illegally has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for his part in a scheme where hundreds of counterfeit IDs were sold to undocumented workers in Kent and Kalamazoo counties.
34-year-old Victor Quesada-Pacheco also faces deportation.
Prosecutors say he and Jesus Lopez-Garcia provided phony social security numbers to Jaime Velasco-Jimenez, who manufactured the cards.
Both Lopez-Garcia and Velasco-Jimenez have already been sentenced to 36 months in prison.
