HASTINGS (WKZO-AM) — Police had to use a Taser to subdue a 19-year-old man who tossed a basketball-sized boulder through the windshield of a vehicle in the parking lot of the Hastings Police Department.
They say it happened before 10 p.m. Wednesday after the man approached the officer with the rock, refusing commands to lie on the ground.
The man was hospitalized and will be sent to jail after he’s medically cleared by doctors, which could happen Thursday.
