KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Township detectives say they’re looking for the person who left a man in a puddle of his own blood with multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting on Gayle Avenue.
Officers found the man, tentatively identified as 29-year-old Robert Holcolm Jr., bleeding into the grass of the home’s front lawn after 2 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to Borgess Medical Center, where he’s currently listed in stable condition.
Witnesses report that a man was talking with the victim shortly before they heard the gunfire. There were also reports of an SUV fleeing from the scene, but no suspect or vehicle descriptions have been released.
Equipment used for making methamphetamine was also removed from the scene.
