LANSING, MI (WHTC) – MIRS News is reporting that state legislative leaders are “nearing a hopeful framework” of an agreement for dedicating 1.2 billion dollars annually for road repairs. The new deal would include around 800 million dollars in new revenue and 400 million in existing General Fund money. Governor Snyder met with the “quadrant” of House and Senate leaders before leaving on an around-the-world business trip, with the news agency saying that there was “markedly more optimism” about a deal.
