LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Michigan State Police will be out in full force this weekend watching for drunk drivers and those who aren’t buckled up around the state through Labor Day holiday weekend.
When it comes to arresting drunk drivers and identifying when people aren’t using their seatbelts, The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning notes police are experts.
Additional officers are on the road in all areas of the state.
Triple-A Michigan projects one-point-million people will be traveling in the state over the holiday. with the vast majority going by car.
