LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state Department of Health and Human Services submitted another Healthy Michigan Plan waiver to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, looking to maintain health care coverage for nearly 600 thousand previously uninsured residents. The request pertains to coverage options and requirements for those whose earn between 100 and 133 percent of the federal poverty level and have had Healthy Michigan coverage for two straight years.
