GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – The Grand Haven Public Safety Department will hold a special Lifesaving Awards Ceremony this Wednesday morning for Zeb Boeskool, a surfer who helped rescue two teenaged girls from the waters of Lake Michigan 11 days ago. The unnamed youths, aged 14 and 13, were struggling in apparent rip currents about 800 feet from the pier when the 25-year-old Grand Haven man, with the help of responding Public Safety officers, pulled the teens to safety. Both girls were treated for injuries.
