FENTON, MI (WHTC) – U.S. flags across Michigan should be at half-staff Tuesday to honor seven-year veteran Michigan State Police Trooper Chad Wolf. The 38-year-old Flint-area man died last Friday when his marked motorcycle was struck by a vehicle north of Detroit and was dragged under the vehicle for three miles along I-75 before bystanders noticed his body when the vehicle was at a rest stop.
Governor Rick Snyder is expected to be among the 1,000 mourners at Wolf’s funeral Tuesday at Fenton High School. The motorist involved, identified only at this point as a 72-year-old man from Waterford, has yet to be charged as the incident remains under investigation.
