BATTLE CREEK One man is dead and two others injured after a rollover crash near the Beadle Lake Road Exit on I-94 Sunday Evening at about 6:30.
Witnesses tell Emmett Township police that it appeared that the driver of a pick-up failed to see that traffic was stopped ahead because of an earlier accident and took an evasive maneuver, diving into the median to avoid a collision.
The truck began to roll as it came back onto the pavement and landed on its roof.
A 42-year-old passenger, a man from Lapeer was dead at the scene.
Three other occupants of the pick-up were taken to Bronson Battle Creek for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
It remains under investigation.
