PAW PAW (WKZO) — A Kalamazoo man is facing a dozen charges after leading police on a High-speed chase that crossed two counties.
Josh Tanner was already wanted on three misdemeanors and two felony charges in Indiana and three in Michigan when he ran a stop sign in Keeler Township and was spotted by Deputies.
They attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect refused to pull his Jeep Grand Cherokee over to the side of the road.
He led deputies from Van Buren County well into Cass County before he lost control of the jeep on Swisher Street and crashed.
He was treated for minor injuries and taken to the Van Buren County Jail.
They found marijuana, and cocaine in the vehicle and paraphernalia for making Meth. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license for a second time, driving while impaired by drugs and fleeing and eluding.
Tanner may face additional charges after a review by the Prosecutor, and when he is done being charged in Michigan, they may ship him off to Indiana to face the outstanding charges there.
