GUANGZHOU, China (WHTC) – Tourism was again on the mind of Governor Snyder as he continued his eight-day business mission to China. After chatting with travel journalists at the Great Wall on Monday, Mr. Snyder and other state travel officials huddled with other “major travel media” at the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, touting Michigan’s many attractions and hoping to strengthen tourism ties with the Far East. The Governor’s fifth excursion to China since his 2011 inauguration concludes on Saturday.
