LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (WKZO) — Kalamazoo’s ‘most wanted fugitive’ is in custody in Las Vegas, Nevada.
George Mack was wanted for the shooting death of Edward Bell at a home in the 13-hundred block of North Rose St. two weeks ago.
The U.S. Marshal’s service tracked him down, and made the arrest as he walked out of a drug store Monday evening.
Public Safety says it’s been in contact daily with the Marshal’s Service, exchanging information that led to the successful arrest.
Mack is being held in the Clark County detention center until extradition hearings can be scheduled and arrangements made to bring Mack back to Michigan to face open murder and three felony gun charges.
