LANSING, MI (WHTC) – According to MIRS News, state House leaders have been attempting to round up the necessary 55 votes among majority Republicans to pass a long-term road funding compromise with the Senate. The plan, according to the news service, would raise 600 million dollars annually in new revenue while using 600 million in existing revenue. The two chambers had passed separate plans with different funding formulas. Both chambers are slated for business sessions next week.
