ST. JOSEPH (WKZO)– A west Michigan lawmaker says this week’s gas spike smells and it isn’t a pleasant odor.
West Michigan State Senator John Proos feels that motorists are being taken advantage of by “artificially high prices” Following problems at the BP Refinery in Whiting, Indiana.
He has asked Attorney General Bill Schuette to open an investigation into the gas spike.
There are conflicting reports of what actually took place at the Indiana Refinery.
The St. Joseph Republican tells WSJM that he questions the “80-cent increase” within days of the problem.
