GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) –He is the international arms dealer who lives next door.
The U.S. Attorney of West Michigan has indicted 30-year-old Benjamin Cance of Plainwell with international arms shipping, money laundering and possession of a machine gun.
They claim he used the proceeds to buy a house, among other things.
U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles says he shipped illegal gun parts overseas and used bitcoin and other electronic currencies to cover his trail.
He is free on bond for now.
