LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The top operational lieutenant for Governor Snyder is retiring. Dennis Muchmore is stepping down at year’s end as Chief of Staff after coming on board when Mr. Snyder was inaugurated in 2011. He will become a counselor to the Governor and oversee special products. Jarrod Agen, who has been Mr. Snyder’s Communications Director for 18 months, will replace Muchmore as Chief of Staff, while Beth Clement adds first cabinet secretary duties to her current deputy chief of staff responsibilities.
