OTSEGO, MI (WHTC) – No services or visitation is scheduled for Renny Ransbottom, the president of the Otsego Board of Education who died last Thursday at the age of 64 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer less than a week earlier. He had been on the board for 14 years, and for nearly three decades, he had owned and operated a grocery store in neighboring Plainwell. Mr. Ransbottom was also involved with the Michigan Association of School Boards and the Otsego District Library Board.
