A Mexican national is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail charged with stabbing a Florida man in Sturgis Wednesday.
The victim came in contact with police when Emergency Room personnel notified police of the stab wound.
26-year Jeremias Lerenzo-Santiago was identified by the victim and found staying at the American Inn in Sturgis Wednesday.
He is being held on bond for an attempted murder charge.
