ROSS TOWNSHIP (WKZO)– A freak accident between a car and a lawnmower has cost Ross Township woman her life.
Kalamazoo County Deputies say 59-year-old Deborah Kay Smith was mowing her lawn in the 56-hundred block of 38th Street when he made a wide turn out into the roadway on a riding lawnmower, right into the path of a south bound vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by arriving emergency personnel. It happened shortly after 7 last evening.
