GENEVA TWP., MI (WHTC) – FBI agents are assisting Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies in an investigation into an apparent hate crime at the Jewish youth summer camp near South Haven. Sometime during the overnight hours of Saturday/Sunday, someone broke into Camp Agudah off of County Road 388 and spray painted swastikas and other forms of graffiti on a sign, a vehicle, a building and a picnic table.
It is believed that more than one suspect is involved, with no arrests thus far, and anyone with information is asked to call the Van Buren Sheriff’s office.
