LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Ten-year felony charges of Medicaid Fraud Conspiracy and Embezzlement by a Public Officer were filed by the state Attorney General’s office against the former CEO of Summit Pointe in Battle Creek. Ervin Brinker allegedly diverted more than half a million dollars between May of 2011 and December of 2012 to what turned out to be a psychic palm reader and her husband in Key West. Summit Pointe, a state contractor for mental and behavioral health services for southwest Michigan, sacked the 68-year-old Delton man in February. Brinker is free on 25 thousand dollars bond.
