LANSING, MI (WHTC) – State House GOP leaders met in caucuses on the first day back from a three week-long summer break, going over options on road funding. The Senate’s 1.4 billion-dollar package was sent to the Lower Chamber two weeks ago with some similarities from what the House approved earlier in June, but many differences that may need to be ironed out in a conference committee. Speaker Kevin Cotter didn’t give a timetable for a vote on the Senate plan, but said that it would be addressed soon.
