KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — A teenager was severely beaten and stabbed and perhaps left on the railroad tracks to get run over by a train early Tuesday morning.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Detectives are asking for any help they can get from the public.
The 17-year-old victim had spend the evening at a home on E. Michigan Avenue and assaulted outside the home.
Public Safety got a call just after 6 a.m. about a person bleeding from the head, lying on the tracks at the rail yard at 75-Mills Street.
It was only after they had gotten him to the Emergency Room that they also realized the teen had been stabbed. He is currently in critical condition.
Anyone with information on this assault is asked to contact Kalamazoo Public Safety at 337-8994 or Silent Observer at 343-2100, www.kalamazoosilentobserver.com.
