GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Now that Brandon Dillon has officially been appointed Michigan Democratic Party Chairman, speculation over who may replace him in the state House has already begun. The legislator from Grand Rapids announced today he would relinquish his lawmaking duties on August 3rd to focus exclusivity on his party post.
Dillion’s office has been in discussion with Governor’s Snyder’s office on when a special election would be held in a strongly-Democratic district.
