FOLSOM, CA (WHTC) – Three Lakeshore counties were among the 54 most innovative and pioneering counties in the nation in using technology. The 13th annual Center for Digital Government survey placed Allegan County tops in counties of under 150 thousand population, with Berrien fifth best for those between 150 and 250 thousand, and Ottawa tied for sixth for those between 250 and 500 thousand. CDG officials cited Allegan’s involvement in a consortium with Kent and Ottawa counties, among other items.
