LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Financial help for tornado-stricken Ionia County is on its way from Lansing after Governor Snyder declared a state of disaster. It stems from a sudden twister that touched down in Portland and vicinity, causing extensive damage to many structures, although no injuries or fatalities were reported.
