LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Now that a road funding package has cleared the chamber, the Michigan Senate will now take up a package of bills aimed at removing mandates on renewable energy and revamping Michigan’s integrated resource planning process. Energy and Technology Committee leaders Mike Nofs of Battle Creek and John Proos of St. Joseph are planning to hold hearings over the summer on their Michigan Clean Energy Plan, looking to have it become law by year’s end.
The State House is considering its own energy proposal.
