ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) – The city of Allegan’s Police Department continues to ask for the public’s help in locating a missing 35-year-old man. More details have been disclosed about Benjamin Hambley who hasn’t been seen for more than a week.
Family members say that he is an outdoors enthusiast who likes to camp in secluded areas such as the nearby Allegan State Game Area, and that he recently purchased camping equipment. Hambley normally can walk without assistance, but family members told Allegan City Police detectives that he may be using a walker or other device at this moment.
The search also continues for Hambley’s red 1997 Dodge Stratus with Michigan license plate BDN 7526. Allegan County Central Dispatch and the Allegan Police Department are handling all tips related to the matter.
