KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — A teenager who arrived at Bronson Emergency early Sunday Morning with a gunshot wound to the head, is being uncooperative with Public Safety Officers.
He appeared at the emergency room at about 3:35. Police are automatically notified anytime a gunshot wound appears.
The victim told officers he was sitting in a vehicle at Woodbury near Ada Street, when he was hit by the bullet.
It must have just grazed him, because Public Safety says the head-wound was non-life threatening. They did not expect him to be admitted to the hospital, but rather treated and released.
The victim would not provide any other details.
That intersection has been the scene of a number of shootings in the last two years.
Its being investigated but Public Safety has no suspects.
