LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The state Economic Development Corporation named Dave Lorenz as Acting Vice President of Travel Michigan, replacing David West, who resigned. The Norton Shores resident has been the Industry Relations and International Marketing Manager with the agency for more than a decade, and he will take over the Pure Michigan tourism branding and marketing efforts, among other responsibilities. There was no word from the MEDC as to when a permanent VP for Travel Michigan will be chosen.
