LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The Task Force on Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children sent a report to the Governor’s desk outlining recommendations that would shift the focus from potential victims to potential perpetrators. Among the numerous suggestions is the creation of a state-wide agency that would help implement a comprehensive child sexual abuse prevention plan. State Health and Human Services Director Nick Lyon will review the report before any steps are made by the Governor or the Legislature.
