LANSING (WKZO) – A new poll finds 56-percent of Michigan voters say they support legalizing marijuana in Michigan, with 36-percent opposed.
A nearly identical number now support same-sex marriage, 56 in favor while just 33-percent are opposed as the state awaits a ruling this month from the U.S. Supreme Court on overturning the state’s ban on marriage equality.
The poll by the Glengariff Group also found 77-percent want the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act expanded to include legal protections for LGBT people in the state.
All three appear headed for some sort of resolution or determination, some sooner than others.
