SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – South Haven may be the latest West Michigan city to open up some of its public places for alcohol consumption. The City Council there will be asked this evening to approve license agreements with the Michigan Maritime Museum and the South Haven Center for the Arts to allow those two non-profit organizations to host events that would include serving spirits. Other municipalities such as Holland have lifted long-time liquor bans on public property in order to host more activities at their facilities.
