YORK TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) – A series of stabbings in southeastern Michigan that occurred early Saturday morning has just been confirmed by Michigan State Police. The attacks occurred at about 6 a.m. on June 13th in York Township, MI, according to a mlive.com report.
Two people were killed and another three were injured during a home invasion. Police have not confirmed the names of the deceased, but a fundraising website was set up for one of the injured victims, 31-year-old mother of two Vicki Moore. The webpage states that Moore’s 12-year-old son and another relative, 26-year-old John Brown were killed by an unnamed assailant.
An update to the webpage posted at 11:30 a.m. today says that Moore is being prepared for surgery to correct the defensive wounds on her hand. Another person, a man named Jeffery Porter, was reportedly living in the house where the home invasion occurred, but there have been no reports that he was in the house at the time of the incident.
