LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Two men who live along the Lakeshore but work outside of the area have been appointed to state panels by Governor Snyder. West Olive’s Dennis Sturtevant, CEO of Dwelling Place Housing in Grand Rapids, has a two-year term as an initial member of the Michigan Interagency Council on Homelessness, representing the general public. Chad Tackett of Otsego, now Texas Township’s Fire Chief in suburban Kalamazoo, will serve another four years on the state Fire Fighters Training Council.
