CASS COUNTY (WKZO) — Deputies believe that 48-year-old Norman Hand of Marcellus was speeding westbound on 96th Avenue when he strayed from the paved surface for some unknown reason.
Deputies say the car was launched into the air when it rolled up an embankment and flew into a grove of trees.
He wasn’t wearing a seat-belt.
Hand was cut from the wreckage and packed on board an Air Care flight to Kalamazoo’s Bronson Methodist for emergency treatment of multiple injuries.
His condition has not been released.
