LANSING, MI (WHTC) – A group of state Republican conservatives are threatening recall efforts against seven state Senators that they believe support hiking the gas tax for road repair revenue. Among those targeted is Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof, with part-time legislature advocate Norm Kammeraad as a suggested alternative, while Dave Agema was a suggested alternative to another target, Pete MacGregor. MIRS News reports that Senate GOP caucus officials aren’t taking this recall effort seriously.
