PORTAGE (WKZO) — The month‘s long stand-off between Police and the Pelletier family has ended, once again with violence.
It all began when Sean Pelletier’s mom tried to evict him and his two sisters from a home on Rayborn Court in Portage and they refused to leave.
Police knew he was heavily armed so they tried to catch him away from the home and it ended in a deadly gunfight anyway three weeks ago.
That left his two sisters and all his guns in the home.
Last night police responded to reports of multiple gun shots fired at the Rayborn Court home with a SWAT Team, and when the two women refused to surrender, they flushed them out with tear gas.
The women refused to go quietly and Portage Police used what they are calling “less lethal options” to subdue them.
Both suspects were treated and cleared at the emergency room before they were taken to jail.
They are both being held on outstanding warrants, both will undergo forensic tests and additional charges will be sought for resisting arrest.
No officers or neighbors were injured during the confrontation and arrests.
