SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — The names of the three victims of a deadly crash in eastern Calhoun County have been released.
The 16-year old at-fault driver, who has not been named, was eastbound on I-94 at 28-Mile Road in Calhoun County when his SUV veered across the median and slammed head-on into a westbound vehicle Sunday evening, killing his passenger, 16-year-old Maceo Moore, a Junior at Jackson High.
Deputies say a 74-year-old Ella Blackwell from Jackson and her sister, 77-year-old Ethel Brinstone from Ohio also died.
Four others were injured and remain hospitalized, including both drivers and three other teens. The at-fault driver was airlifted to Lansing and reportedly remains in critical condition.
