UNDATED (WKZO) — The analysts are saying that gas prices are peaking and should start to taper off after Memorial Day
. But then they said they peaked at March at 2.47/gallon. Since then, refinery problems, strikes and other global issues have forced prices higher.
Right now the national average is in the 2.70’s, just a few cents higher than they are in west Michigan.
Still that’s about 90-cents per gallon lower than they were on Memorial Day last year.
