LANSING, MI (WHTC) – Two bills aimed at keeping new forms of old contraband out of the hands of Michigan youth are headed to the state House after unanimous approval in the Senate. Sponsored by Grand Ledge Republican Rick Jones, one bill would prohibit the sale, distribution and possession of powered alcohol. The other bans the sale of electronic cigarettes and nicotine cartridges to those under 18, as well as allowing minors to possess these “objects.”
