State Knife Rights Act Under Consideration in Senate

LANSING, MI (WHTC) – The Michigan Knife Rights Act should be voted on by the state Senate Local Government Committee tomorrow. The bill would remove local governmental authority to impose additional restrictions on bladed weapons and their legal use beyond what is currently state law. Mayville Republican Mike Green claims that hunters and lawful concealed carry holders have been confused by such ordinances. Local government groups are concerned about state authority overreach issues.
